*Candidate Profile:* Students who see healthcare information technology playing a meaningful role in their current or future career.

Typical degrees may include healthcare administration, public health, healthcare management, public policy, health informatics, patient-centered technologies, computer science/information systems and engineering.

*Requirements:* Student must:

- **Be enrolled in a Washington State institute of higher education with focus on healthcare science, technology and public policy. Students can be full or part-time in an accredited Undergraduate (junior or senior level), Masters or PhD program

- **Complete on-line application

- **Be an active HIMSS WA member.

*Scholarship Amount:* 8 scholarships, $1,500 each****

*Application Period: *April 1 – May 1, 2013****
