As you can see from the photo it is NOT remote sensing or computer vision, but it's a start. And then there's the one I actually have on my phone and you can download for free: The heart rate app In this case no new hardware is required. http://www.downloadsquad.com/2010/10/11/instant-heart-rate-for-android-uses-... This simulates the standard finger pincher with a bright light by using the phone's camera and light.
