Hello – I am writing to tell you about an upcoming training opportunity in health information systems hosted at PATH. The leading software that developing countries are using for their national health management information systems is called DHIS2 <https://www.dhis2.org/overview>, an open-source software system led from the University of Oslo's Health Information Systems Programme <http://www.hisp.org/>, (HISP-Oslo.). Over 42 countries around the world use DHIS2 <https://www.dhis2.org/inaction> to track their health statistics This training will help you gain competency in what DHIS2 is, how it can be used for health programs, and how to use it to analyze data. *PATH's Digital Health Solutions team has invited Akros <http://akros.com/> to provide a 5-day, 2-track training for up to 30 people on how to use and configure DHIS2 October 5 – 9**. * *Course Details:* *What: *DHIS2 Training. DHIS2 <https://www.dhis2.org/> is a web-based, open-source health information system used widely by the countries with which PATH works. This course will be valuable to both new and more seasoned users, covering everything from data analysis to data capture and visualization to system configuration.
