Join us for a community based workshop and explore the uses and capabilities of the FHIR health data standard in research and clinical settings. We will examine potential applications and limitations of FHIR and related technologies (SMART on FHIR, and CDS Hooks), including how several prominent health systems are creating innovative technology solutions, with appropriate organizational governance. A group of faculty, staff, and students at the University of Washington in collaboration with the Healthcare Services Platform Collaboration<https://www.hspconsortium.org/> are hosting this one day workshop in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle on Monday, September 24, 2018.
