Sharing a great opportunity from Earthlab. Please share as appropriate. The EarthLab Innovation Grants Program is happy to announce the release of the 2020 - 2021 Request for Proposals (RFP). The Innovation Grants Program invests in teams of University of Washington (UW) researchers, UW students, and non-academic partners seeking to develop innovative solutions to pressing environmental challenges. There is $300,000 available and teams may apply for up to $75,000 per project. Funding is intended to support new partnerships that are led by and with those most impacted by a particular environmental challenge, seek to co-define research priorities from multiple perspectives, and seek to generate actionable science and knowledge (i.e., research that is usable and used). Project teams must include at least one non-academic partner, a minimum of two UW researchers from different disciplines, and at least one UW undergraduate or graduate student or postdoc.
