The Wireless Innovation Project seeks to identify and fund the best innovations using wireless related technology to address critical social issues around the world. Three winners will be awarded prizes of $300,000, $200,000 and $100,000 for unique, late-stage wireless related innovations that offer the best potential for creating social change in the areas of education, health, economic development, the environment and access to communication. The deadline for applications is February 1, 2010. Here is a link to our website: http://project.vodafone-us.com and I have also attached our latest press release and a fact sheet with some more information. I would greatly appreciate if you all could pass this information along to any students or faculty who you think might be interested in applying. If you have any questions, please let me know.
