What is a "Hackathon" one asks? Let me tell you! A hackathon is an all day event where a bunch of people, after some presentations in the morning, furiously develop an application - on the spot, live! - for prizes and recognition. This isn't Android specific, so if you are doing some Windows Phone 7, Symbian, BrewMP, or other development, that will quite fine. Even if you're a relative novice, there will be a small swarm of developers from various other sponsoring companies offering help, including (rumor has it) a contingent of Microsoft developers with Microsoft Phone 7 phones. There will be demo equipment, technical assistence, breakfast and lunch, and the friendly companionship of your fellow developers! What more can you ask for?
