Awaaz.De ("Give your voice") is a research-backed, revenue generating application currently reaching tens of thousands through hundreds of thousands of phone calls. Awaaz.De facilitates information sharing amongst groups through interactive voice message boards, voice broadcasts, and voice surveys, all available through normal phone numbers. Organizations across India use Awaaz.De to communicate with customers or beneficiaries who lack Internet and require a richer way to engage than text. Front-end Engineer Responsibilities • Drive the design and development of our web and smartphone-based interfaces; own what the user sees and have a strong voice on how to create the best possible user experience. • Architect server and client-side systems using the Django framework • Make UI and UX decisions, including layout. • Integrate with the rest of social web through apps and APIs • Stay up-to-date with technologies so you can suggest new coding practices, recommend architecture changes and optimize scalability. http://angel.co/awaaz-de/recruiting/3369
