Dear colleagues,

Please pass along and consider applying for the following call from USAID's Global Development Lab on the development of the health information system architecture for West Africa in our support of the Ebola recovery efforts for the region. 

This is a pretty exciting funding process. USAID will invite a group of selected applicants to come together and co-design concept notes that can result in multiple awards. We're hoping for wide and diverse participation in this process.

Strengthening Health Information Systems toward
Interoperability in the West Africa Region

Dear Partner,

Exciting news - the U.S. Global Development Lab's Ebola Team has released an addendum to the Science,Technology, Innovation and Partnerships Broad Agency Announcement. The addendum is a call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to take part in an innovative and collaborative solution design process.

The Lab Ebola Team is looking for EOIs regarding specific innovative solutions that your organization believes could strengthen interoperability of Health Information Systems (HIS) in West Africa in the wake of the Ebola outbreak. Our main objective is to co-create, co-design, co-invest and collaborate with innovators on forward-thinking solutions that demonstrate the highest potential to significantly improve recovery and development impacts. Of particular interest are opportunities that complement USAID's strategic focus on science, technology and innovative partnerships.

Successful applications to this call will be treated as having met the statutory requirements for the Competition in Contracting Act, and could potentially result in funding opportunities. This is a public announcement, so please feel free to share with colleagues or partners who may have an interest.
