Dear Colleagues,

The scientific committee of the 3^rd International Workshop about research in ICT for Human Development (http://www.tsc.urjc.es/jornadastic4dh) invites the Scientific community to present communications for this event that will take place in Cuzco (Peru) between the 2^th and the 4^th July 2012. The topic of this yearly Workshop will be: “Sustainability, maintenance and exploitation models of rural telemedicine networks in remote areas”. Contributions analysing the sustainability and maintenance strategies of rural networks that are used for applications other than telemedicine (i.e. education, government, etc.) are also welcome. The workshop also includes a day visit to a long distance wireless network providing telemedicine, e-government and e-learning services to the Acomayo and Pomacanchi provinces since 2006 and a keynote from Mr. Michael Best. 

To accommodate requests from some participants, the deadline for receiving communications has been extended until April 30th.
