Dear Colleague,
The early bird deadline has been extended! Join us in Boston, MA, on June 15, 2012, for the 6th USENIX/ACM Workshop on Networked Systems for Developing Regions (NSDR '12). Register by Tuesday, May 29, 2012, for the greatest savings.
NSDR ‘12 will provide a venue for researchers to propose and discuss ideas concerning the design, implementation, and evaluation of new computing and communications technologies to support the sustainable development of developing regions. NSDR ‘12 specifically focuses on the technical networking and systems research challenges that arise in the design, implementation, and deployment of new computing solutions appropriate for developing regions.
The program includes:
- Keynote Address from Dr. Richard Fletcher, National Center for Homeless Veterans
- Presentations on tracking water distribution through simple human observation, deploying broadband networks in rural Haiti, and managing traffic in countries with few observable traffic rules
Check out the full program!
Because NSDR '12 is part of USENIX Federated Conferences Week you can create your own conference experience. Your daily registration gets you into all the events happening that day: talks, workshops--you name it. Plus, registration packages offer expanded discounts: the more days you attend, the more you save!
