Subject: DIL RFA for Fall 2013 Grant Competition
Dear Kentaro,
We launched our first grant competition and the RFA was released Aug 30.
I just wanted to make sure you received the call for proposals and would be delighted if you could pass the word around to PhD students / faculty / colleagues who are eligible? Details are below.
DIL Fall 2013 Grants - Request for Application (RFA) - Deadline October 30th, 2013
The Development Impact Lab (DIL) is offering grants of up to $200,000 to support the design, piloting and evaluation of innovative solutions for international development.
DIL is a USAID-funded research network headquartered at UC Berkeley. The program funds scientific, engineering, and economic breakthroughs that address pressing challenges in global development.
This RFA is the first of an annual series of competitions (to run through 2017). In this round, we expect to award approximately 8 “pilot” grants (up to $75,000) and 4 “project” grants (up to $200,000).
· The deadline for submission is Wednesday October 30th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
· Apply by responding to the RFA – attached and also at the DIL website
· Please email all queries to dil-grants@berkeley.edu
We warmly encourage affiliated researchers to apply!
Do let me know if you have any questions at all.
Best regards,
Subarna
