Dear Dub Members,
We invite you to a "Tag-a-thon" event hosted by the Voices from the Rwanda Tribunal project at the University of Washington!
The Voices from the Rwanda Tribunal collection contains 49 video interviews conducted with personnel from the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). These interviews explore themes of justice and peace, introducing provoking questions, opportunities and challenges surrounding transitional justice issues in the aftermath of violent conflict. The website can be viewed here: http://www.tribunalvoices.org/
We offer this digital collection to all people to watch, tag, clip, and download for their use in future projects. If you are Rwandan, a member of the international justice community, an educator, journalist, artist, or an interested member of the general global public, these materials are for you!
If you are interested, we would like to invite you to join our public “tag-a-thon” event on this collection. Stop by our table in theHUB Lounge area from February 17 to 25, from 10:30-4:30pm; watch the video interviews, and contribute to public curation by tagging and clipping videos.
If you can’t make this event, you can still participate online through the project website: http://www.tribunalvoices.org/
Please reply to this email if you have any questions about the project or the event.
If you are interested in having a tag-a-thon event at your location, please let us know.
All best,
