The PeaceTech Lab based out of Washington DC is an international NGO that works at the intersection of technology, media, and data to help reduce violent conflict around the world.
We're posting a new, yet pivotal position that supports one of PeaceTech Lab’s growth areas: educating the next generation of humanitarian engineers.
The Peacebuilding Engineers Program will sharpen the skills of talented young technologists and engineers and will give them the opportunity to serve communities in conflict zones around the
world who are working to create sustainable peace. We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial thinker/doer who can motivate, teach, mentor peacetech entrepreneurs in the field, while embracing the core values of peacebuilding.
The Executive Director takes the lead role in the Peacebuilding Engineers Program, responsible for organizing and teaching courses, mentoring students, further development and planning of the
program, financial management, and public outreach. The position requires a unique mix of skills ranging from teaching and peacebuilding expertise to entrepreneurism and tech savvy.
We are accepting applications on a rolling basis.
