Member of Technical Staff for Gram Vaani Community Media (http://gramvaani.org)

Job description
- Design and implementation of core Gram Vaani technical products
- Close customer engagement to gather feedback for (re)design of products
- May require travel to various parts of India, including rural areas

Work experience
- 2+ years job experience, or equivalent talent

Skills needed
- Computer science BTech/MTech
- Experience on building large 3-tier web based applications
- Required technology expertise
     * Website development using Google Web Kit or Php
     * Mysql database backend
     * Linux server administration
     * Scripting in perl or python
     * Familiarity with content management systems such as Drupal and Joomla
     * Familiarity with Asterisk or Freeswitch is a plus
- Good communication skills and a confident personality
- High levels of persistence and resourcefulness
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Committed to social development
