Please circulate info about the PTC '15 paper prizes to your students and colleagues. Feel free to post it as well. Details listed below can be forwarded (and are also in the cfp that's attached).

The Pacific Telecommunications Council's annual conference will be January 18-21 2015 in Honolulu Hawaii. Paper submissions are being accepted for PTC's annual research paper prizes:
* The Meheroo Jusawalla Prize for the best overall paper: Deadline is September 8, 2014
* The O.S. Braunstein Prize for the best student paper: Deadline is August 4, 2014
The winner for each prize will receive:
- US$1,000 cash award
- Conference registration waiver
- A speaking opportunity to present the winning paper at PTC'15
- Up to US$1,500 for travel and accommodations
- A certificate presented at the PTC'15 Closing Lunch and Awards Ceremony
Papers for PTC'15 are welcome on a range of telecom-related topics are welcomed, including:
* wireless mobility/apps and mobile gaming
* cloud and big data
* cybersecurity
* policy challenges for a networked planet
* satellite
* submarine cable
* software-defined networking (SDN)
* monetization
* mobile/untethered spectrum
Papers on other telecom-related topics not noted above will be considered, including information and communication technologies for development (ICT4D) are also welcome.
